Participant Browser Service (PBS) takes all the information and functionality of the familiar Participant Terminal System (PTS) and makes it much easier to access and use. Accessible through existing SMART network connections, PBS adds new features not available on PTS. Through a variety of training opportunities designed to make you comfortable with PBS, we can ease you into the service in no time at all.

Benefits

As part of our goal to provide customers with innovative and flexible capabilities, DTCC is leveraging Web-based technologies like PBS to lower costs, expand access and accelerate the delivery of services to customers.

PBS will simplify customers' access to all depository processing functions by upgrading traditional back-office terminal facilities with flexible and easier-to-use PC and web browser interfaces.p>

PBS dramatically enhances usability, giving customers more intuitive browser navigation and data entry fields on screens designed to display more information.

PBS drop-down menus and online help eliminate the need to memorize or look up codes, saving customers time in accessing functions and training employees on the system.

Improvements

The new version of PBS provides access to a wider range of functions than previous versions. In addition, users can access help from a central menu and can download transactional data.
